How far is the salon from Hiroo (Hiro-o) Station?
Two minutes on foot from Hiro-o Station on the Tokyo Metro Hibiya Line. Walk into Hiroo Shotengai, turn right just past Hiroo-yu, then left at the end of the street, and you’ll find us. It’s an easy stop before or after shopping or dinner in Hiroo.
What should I look for when choosing a nail salon in Tokyo?
Three things: the skill of the work, the standard of hygiene, and how the nail artists are trained. At Colors, we openly share what our nail artists learn, from their first lesson onward.
Can I talk through designs on my first visit?
Of course. If you’re not sure what suits you, simply tell your nail artist about your style, your work, or the occasion, and we’ll suggest designs that feel like you.
I’ve never been to a nail salon before.
First-time guests are always welcome. We’ll walk you through every choice, from shape to color, so you can simply sit back and relax.
Do I need a design in mind before I come?
Not at all. No reference photos needed. Your nail artist will ask about your taste and plans, then suggest refined designs to match.
Is nail art your specialty?
Yes. Nail art is what Colors does best, including the hand-painted, finely detailed designs Tokyo is known for. Bring us an idea, or let us bring one to you.
Do you offer French and cat eye nails?
Yes. From classic French to soft nuanced looks and cat eye gel, we offer a wide range of designs.
Do you have a flat-rate nail plan?
Yes. Our RADIANCE PLAN lets you choose your nails from three classes: STANDARD, PREMIUM, and FIRST CLASS.
My nails are thin. Is gel safe for me?
We offer a gel that’s applied without filing down the surface of your natural nails. It’s our recommendation for anyone who wants beautiful nails while keeping their own nails healthy.
How long do gel nails last?
We recommend a refresh every three to four weeks. If your gel starts to lift sooner, just let us know. We’re only two minutes from Hiro-o Station.
How can I make my nails last longer?
Regular maintenance at the salon makes the biggest difference. We’ll also share simple ways to care for your nails at home, and for Hiroo residents, a quick visit fits easily into a neighborhood walk.
Do you offer pedicures?
Yes. Gel pedicures are a favorite before sandal season, when Hiroo’s streets start to feel like summer.
Do you offer gel fills?
Yes. We can refresh your gel while keeping the base layer in place. Just ask when you book.
Do you include cuticle and skin care?
Yes. Careful cuticle care is part of every treatment. It shapes how the finished nails look and how long they last.
Do you have private rooms?
Yes. Our fully private rooms on the second floor let you enjoy your appointment without other guests around. They’re especially popular with clients looking for privacy in central Tokyo.
What is the salon like inside?
The first floor is a nail lounge wrapped in greenery. Upstairs, our private rooms take their inspiration from a first-class cabin. Both are made for unhurried time.
Can I book nails before a party or special occasion?
Yes. Hiroo is one of Tokyo’s international neighborhoods, and we often prepare nails for receptions, dinners, and celebrations. Ask us for a design made for the evening.
Do you offer understated nails for work?
Yes. One-color gel, French, and a clear top finish that lets your natural nails show through are all popular choices that sit comfortably in any office.
Do you have seasonal designs?
Yes. We introduce new designs each season, and you’ll find them in the news section of our top page.
Is the salon close to Roppongi and Shibuya?
Yes. Hiroo is just minutes from both Roppongi and Shibuya. Ebisu, Azabu, and Shirokane are close by too, so we’re an easy visit from anywhere in central Tokyo.
What makes Colors different from other nail salons?
Two things: the range of our nail art, and how openly we share the way our nail artists are trained. We care just as much about your peace of mind as about the finished look.
How are your nail artists trained?
Colors runs its own nail school. Our nail artists learn their craft there before they ever work in the salon.
Can you replace gel done at another salon?
Yes. Just let us know the condition of your current nails when you book, and we’ll take it from there.

Our second floor is a fully private nail room you can go to directly from the entrance, so you can enjoy your appointment away from other eyes.
